  Paula’s Desires

Paula has always had overly sensitive skin. All her life. Falling down would lay her up for days. Having Sam Keepher touch her the way she so desires would most likely send her into a comatose state that would kill her. She's sure of it. Her heart yearns for this man, to be with him, to have him touch her. Can she find the strength to keep her calm and cool about herself while around him? Is it mind over matter when it comes to her sensitive skin?

Sam’s heart aches at the thought of seriously hurting Paula. His Dom wants nothing more than to give her what she yearns for. Will Sam and Paula manage to work around her disability and bring her to that mind altering state of bliss?

  Chapter One

Sam settled in the chair across from her, his eyes eating up every inch of her. She turned her face away from him with an air of elegance. He grunted. Fine, ignore him. He would just sit here and stare at her beautiful defiance…and think of ways to discipline her.

Her copper-red hair was styled in a pixielike hairdo. Not sure how she did that. He was sure that hair was waist length. Her usual tight bustier was replaced by a sensible beige blouse that covered her ample breasts, the tight latex skirt replaced with regular black slacks. She looked prim and proper. He wanted to tie her to the seat she was perched in and tickle her pussy till she panted for him to fuck her. Fuck, one day he may just do that.

Paula glared at the wall. Of course he had to sit where her only good view of outside was behind him, and no way was she going to sit here and face him. Oh, but damn! To sit and stare at him would be wonderful. How many times she had dreamed of grabbing his long strands of cinnamon-brown hair and pulling while she mounted him and fucked his brains out?

She squeezed her thighs together at the thought. Oh fuck, she would look him in the eyes, too. How could she not? He had the oddest eyes, silvery blue, except when he was pissed, like he was right now. They were gray and fierce, like liquid orbs of steel deciding how to punish her.

Wait, she would grasp his shoulders, big, broad, and thick. He was her football man dream, just rougher. Oh, lumberjack man dream guy! She wondered if he would put on a plaid shirt. She would most definitely wear his. Um, there was a thought. Maybe she would go buy one and see his reaction? Maybe he had one she could borrow. Ooh, she should tell her dad to have a lumberjack theme night at the club. There was nothing hotter than a man in plaid with bulging muscles.

Oh, crap, there goes my pussy dripping again.

She turned and opened her mouth to ask then remembered she was pissed off at him. Her mouth clamped shut and she turned back to staring at the wall. Paula had no choice but to look toward him when the front door opened. Her gaze neared his and stuck. There was no anger in his eyes, just the hungriest look she had ever seen in a man’s eyes in her whole life.

Sam stared right back into her eyes. He was obviously approaching this in all the wrong ways. He leaned across the desk and his hot breath caressed her neck. “You need to give in soon, woman. I don’t think kidnapping will do my reputation too well.”

Paula blushed and watched him as he strolled from the little bright office, offering “Beautiful day out” to the elderly lady that had walked in.

Lila roared out in laughter. Paula turned a darker red and glared at Jared. “Your brother is an asshole!” she stammered, glaring at Lila. “And you’re not being very nice. Are we ever going to have a lunch together without him here? I need to talk to my friend!”

She knew she shouldn’t be so petty, b
ut she was envious. Her eyes darted to Jared momentarily to make sure his super-strong ego could take the jab, of course. She mentally slumped. She wished she could do half the things Lila did with Jared.

Lila held her hand over her chest and laughed harder. “Oh, I’m so sorry, Paula…” She laughed harder. “I…just… The thought of Sam kidnapping you”—more laughter—“made me think of the lumberjack scenario,” she managed.

Paula stared at her and her mind drifted to Sam… Tight blue jeans hugging his muscled legs, the lumberjack shirt open this time so she could see his muscled chest. Her pussy flooded and her eyes glazed over at the thought of fucking him. She was cursed. She had to be. No way would crap like this be happening all on its own.

She slumped back in her seat and gave up. Maybe she should just give in to him? Walk into one of his rooms at the club and let him tie her up and spank her and whip her, do all those things he did with those other women…those pretty, hot, lean women that shivered beneath his hands as he caressed their perfect skin. Skin that didn’t suffer in intense pain due to too much stimulation, and didn’t put them in the hospital when they didn’t watch themselves close enough. Stupid, cursed skin! Why did she have to have this problem?

She stared out the window of the restaurant. He would laugh at her, just like the others, or stare and give her that look of repulsion…hurt her… None of them believed her, calling her frigid, scaredy-cat. Okay, their words were meaner. She would just go with those for now.

She rolled her eyes in annoyance. She refused to go back to that place. She pushed her plate away and shifted on her seat to leave.

Jared held up a hand. “Paula, for a year he has been pursuing you. I assure you Sam is not here just to have a quick fling. He does not chase women this long,” he assured.

Paula stared at him. “I don’t care if it’s a quick fling or not! He needs to know I have no interest in his lifestyle,” she muttered. She was so interested, just unable. He would never understand or have the patience for her and her problems.

Jared stirred his coffee slowly. “Are you sure? Because the way your body reacts to the sound of the flogger states otherwise,” he offered. He’d observed her at work, seen how her breath caught every time Sam wielded a flogger, the way her eyes stayed glued to every action he made. The man mesmerized her.

Paula turned bright red and glared at him.

Lila had calmed and was hugging Jared’s arm. “Paula, you really are going overboard with this whole ‘avoid Sam’ thing.”

Paula shook her head. “You know, Lila. Just go do whatever the hell it is you do now!” she uttered, sliding from her seat, pulling a twenty from her wallet and tossing it on the table. She stalked from the restaurant.

Lila furrowed her brows. “She’s really upset. She used my whole friggen’ name.” She shoved at Jared. “Move. Have to go hunt her down,” she grumbled.

Jared moved out of her way, helping her to her feet. His hand caressed her swollen belly. She peeked at him. “You owe me a rub later, some of that nice cream. I think I can feel the skin stretching,” she complained. Two children and she never had stretch marks. Then she gets knocked up with this lovely man’s child and the things seemed to be appearing in the weirdest places. Who would have thought your inner thighs would stretch? Her belly she expected, but her legs? Shit, that sucked.

Jared smiled, leaning over and laying a kiss on her. “I’ll wait here for you.”

Lila nodded, thankful he had brought his paperwork from the office with him.

  * * * *

Lila caught up to her halfway down the street. “Come on, Paula, give me a break. Can’t run anymore,” she huffed, hand on her swollen belly.

Paula stopped and waited. “Lila! Why the hell is he still bugging me? I told him to leave me alone!” she whined, shifting her oversized handbag on her shoulder, tapping her dainty ballerina-shoe-covered foot on the cement.

Lila eased into step with her. “He wants you, Paula. What is so hard to understand about that?”

Paula grunted. “Not helping, Lila! It’s been a year, and if he wanted me so bad, why the hell is he still coming in and doing all those other girls?” she demanded. She had never seen him actually have sex with those girls. He had touched them and brought them mind-blowing orgasms from what she had seen, but he had never whipped out his penis and took any of them. Shit, she didn’t even know what his penis looked like.

Lila sighed, hooking an arm through Paula’s. “I don’t understand why you are fighting him so hard, Paula… It’s Sam.” Her eyes darted to Paula’s as a thought occurred to her. “You don’t think he’s ugly, do you?”

Paula scoffed. Sam was far from ugly! More like dark rogue. She inhaled a breath. “I wish you were still at work,” she mumbled. Then she could see what Paula was seeing almost every night.

Lila shook her head. “Sorry, pregnancy doesn’t fit into that scene so well,” she replied.

Paula scowled at her. “Your answers are doing fuck-all for helping me!” she grumbled, crossing her arms over her ample breasts.

Lila nodded. “Maybe ask him to take you out on a date. Get to know him,” she suggested.

Paula snorted. “You honestly think he wants to take me on a date? The only thing that man wants is to tie me up and whip me!” she muttered, glancing across the street at the small office she worked the afternoons at. His truck was parked outside again. She slumped. She wasn’t sure how many more times she could take him coming in and sitting across from her, staring at her.

Lila stopped. “Paula, I don’t understand why you’re being like this. It’s not like you not to take a challenge,” Lila argued, gaze following Paula’s to Sam’s truck parked near her car. Shit, the man was persistent, but all the Keepher men were.

Paula snorted in response. Most of her challenges had been manageable. This one wasn’t. She would have no control in this matter. It would all be Sam.

Lila tucked a stray hair behind Paula’s ear. “You know when you’re in those situations you are always the one in control, right?”

Paula couldn’t look away from her friend’s concerned eyes. She knew that, should know it. She also knew she could take down Sam if need be. That was if he didn’t tie her up and make her completely unable.

  Chapter Two

Sam placed the folder in front of her. She stared at it then back up at him. “What’s this?” she asked.

He opened it. “You do taxes. I want my taxes done,” he ordered in a husky tone.

Paula furrowed her brows. This she could do. She nodded, grabbing his folder, motioning for him to sit. “Coffee?” she asked.

Sam shook his head. Fuck, this was harder than he thought. He had never had anyone do his taxes except Jared. He didn’t like people knowing what he did.

Paula looked over all the pages before she started anything. Every now and then, her dark copper eyebrows furrowed. He had lots of different incomes. “How the hell do you manage this?” she mumbled. She was sure he just worked at the garage with his brothers. He spent most of his evenings at the club.

Sam shrugged. “I don’t sleep much,” he offered.

Paula laughed. That was funny. Obviously he didn’t sleep much if he had all these different incomes. Paula glanced up as her boss entered from his lunch break.

  “Afternoon, Samuel Keepher,” he greeted.

  Sam nodded.

Luke glanced at Paula. “Paula, word with you in my office when you’re done there,” he ordered.

Paula offered a pretty smile and nodded. When he left, her brows furrowed and she set to work on Sam’s papers.

  * * * *

An hour later, she handed him his folder back and all the documentation. “Just need you to look those over. I’ll be right back,” she murmured, pushing her seat back.

Sam nodded and watched her disappear into Luke’s office. Seconds later, the door was closed. Sam glanced over the sheet, ears straining to hear what was being said behind the door. He could hear Paula raise
her voice. Luke’s was calm and deep. Sam’s lip twitched.

When Paula came out, she went directly to her desk and sat with a dazed look on her face. It was a look Sam had not seen on her. “You okay?” he asked.

Paula glanced at him as if she just realized someone was there. She gave a curt nod, and with the blink of her eyes the look was gone. She shuffled through cards on her desk. “I’m sorry. You may have to finish that up with another. I know this great lady down the street. You should take it to her,” she mumbled, fingers shaking as she went through the rolodex, pulling a card out. “Her name’s Hannah. She’s awesome.” She handed him the card and looked at her desk then grabbed a big, diamond-shaped paperweight, tucked it in her bag, and headed for the front door.

Sam stared as she left. What the hell just happened? He looked at his files, at the card she had handed him, and then at her retreating back.

Paula rounded the building to the back and pressed the button to unlock the doors of her car. “Paula?”

She glanced back, offering Sam a smile. “You’re headed the wrong way, Sam.” She looked at her watch. “Down at the end of the street. Hannah. I promise she will do a good job,” she assured.

Sam shook his head. “Did you just get fired?” he uttered, anger rearing through him. Luke fired her? Had to be what happened.

Paula nodded. “Yeah, it was coming.” She shrugged her shoulders as if it didn’t matter.
